MUSICALS

I Love musicals! The very first BIG one I saw was, MISS SAIGON. It was amazing!! That was a long time ago,but I'm still amazed. While waiting for our referral I've been BELTING OUT in randomnisity(I like it as a word!) lines from musicals! Although I'm sure I frighten hubby QUITE often,he thinks the singing helps me get that pent up feelings of frustration out! SOOOOO....To all my friends that are waiting for a referral, waiting on their I171H,or gathering papers for your dossier....JUST SING!!!!!!

so funny! my daughter has the songs from CATS on her iPod, she loves to listen to it, and I can't help but to sing along when she sings!

How funny! I LOVE musicals as well. I'm already trying to get Malachi accustomed to them. Hopefully the fact that I can't carry a tune won't deter him from music! :)

Keep singing! Your day will come, and then everything will happen so fast you'll think you don't have enough time to get ready!

Great idea - do you know you can add music to you blog? Go to www.imeem.com and it is pretty simple to do. Good luck and I look forward to hearing some musical selections on your blog.

That's so weird that you've been doing that. I've always been a hummer/under breath singer...but it's been getting worse the more stress I've been under (due to this adoption). My kids today laughed at me because while they were working on a worksheet, I was humming a song from church service this morning.

Ha!

Thanks for the advice! I'm sure my family will NOT thank you, though!! We're waiting on our
171H. Don't hesitate to follow along with us at simmonsjourney.blogspot.com!!

That is awesome! I KNOW that I cannot hit the high notes of Christine, but that will not stop me from singing the music of the night. My husband won't thank you!!!

Thanks for the comment! We especially loved Kayla's dress this year. Since you're from Kansas, I thought I'd ask...how long did it take you to get CIS approval once you had your fingerprints done?

How about singing "The sun will come out tomorrow"???? (and not just because it's ANNIE that sings it!)

ha ha - when I received "THE CALL" for our referral, I had been listening to "Adelweiss" from Sound of Music on repeat ALL DAY LONG. I really think there's some correlation with musicals and getting our referral!

too funny!! and, it is great practice for when the babes come home too. When I get sick of singing other songs, I go in to showtunes..CATS, Les Mis, Phantom, Oklahoma, Chorus Line, Annie, and West Side Story. Love Miss Saigon, too!

Lisa: "...the air is humming and something great is coming..." sings Tony.

Hang in there! Love from Mamush who seems to love the song "What I Did for Love" ha!!

I love musicals also....it is best however if I don't try to sing any of the songs!!!!!!

Hi Lisa! Thanks for leaving me a message on my blog! I'm a big fan of musicals too but if my husband catches me singing along to Rent one more time I think he might kick me out and adopt a new wife! Looking forward to following you on your journey! - Kami

Too funny Lisa! I love musicals too...Phantom is my favorite! I try to restrain myself from singing out loud...don't want to scare the neighbors.
